Owen, the "O" in Kamp R n O's cooks up a gourmet dinner prior to the social/dance in Nanaimo held the last Saturday of every month. Dinner starts around 6:00 PM and is served in the Klubhouse. Ty Mynydd Quarterly Gay Men's Potluck Date: Apr 26, Jul 26, Oct 26, 2008 Men bring a dish, and if wished, a bottle of wine to share. Attendees have ranged in age from 18 to 80, and numbers from 6 to 60, averaging 30. While sedate upstairs, a hot tub is available down. Those from off Island may sleep over. No shoes, no hats, no smoking indoors. The last Saturday of every month the Vancouver Island Rainbow Association holds a dance at the Value Lodge Motel in Nanaimo The social is put on by volunteers in the Nanaimo area. It's a laid back evening with lots of dancing, entertainment, prizes, snacks, and a "No Host Bar". The motel offers a special rate for those attending the social.
