Introduction
The purpose of the strategic plan is to guide decision making, action and resource allocation at AIDS Vancouver Island over the next four years in responding to the rapidly-evolving HIV and Hepatitis C epidemics on Vancouver Island. The plan is also intended to communicate the agency’s future direction and proposed actions to key stakeholders, and to help marshal the necessary financial resources and community support.
In order to remain responsive to the needs of clients and the community, the AIDS Vancouver Island strategic plan will be a living document. This means that at the end of each year, the strategic goals, overarching strategy and priority actions will be reviewed and updated as new evidence and new input from clients, staff, volunteers and service partners becomes available.
